Two subteams support our speakers and program participants: VIP Speaker Support and Emcee & Program Support. If you need anything on site, look for them first.
VIP Speaker Support
They greet you, walk you to your room, and make sure your session runs smoothly.
Your role on site
VIP Speaker Support serves as the primary welcoming and hospitality team for speakers. You are often the first familiar face a speaker sees and their main point of contact from arrival through the conclusion of their session.
You will:
- Greet speakers at their designated arrival or check-in location
- Welcome them warmly and confirm their session assignment and call time
- Escort them to the correct room, backstage area, or speaker holding area
- Help them get settled and connect them with the moderator, emcee, or program team
- Make sure they have water, seating, directions, and other basic needs
- Answer logistical questions or quickly locate someone who can help
- Remain attentive to accessibility, hospitality, or schedule-related concerns
- Communicate any speaker concerns or urgent needs to the organizer team immediately
- Check in with speakers after their sessions and help direct them to their next destination
Your role is to make every speaker feel welcomed, valued, prepared, and cared for throughout their Summit experience.

Emcees, introducers, and program support keeping each session on time and on script.
Your role on site
Emcee & Program Support is responsible for the successful delivery of each session. This team manages the visible facilitation and behind-the-scenes details needed to keep the program organized, on time, and flowing smoothly from call time through closing.
You will:
- Review the assigned run of show before arriving
- Confirm the session format, timing, speaker order, and transitions
- Verify speaker names, titles, pronunciations, and introduction scripts
- Introduce speakers or support the assigned introducer, moderator, or facilitator
- Make sure microphones, audiovisual equipment, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, water, and stage seating are ready
- Coordinate with the audiovisual and event teams to resolve technical issues
- Provide discreet time cues to speakers and moderators
- Help manage audience questions, transitions, and session flow
- Communicate delays, accessibility concerns, technical problems, or program changes to the stage manager or organizer team immediately
- Ensure the session begins and ends on time and the room is ready for the next program
Your role is to make sure speakers are properly presented, moderators are supported, and the audience experiences a polished and seamless program.

Emcee & Program Support takes responsibility for preparing and facilitating the session. VIP Speaker Support remains available for the speaker's hospitality and logistical needs, while Emcee & Program Support manages the program, stage, timing, and technical details.
